The employee owned sector contributes £30bn to the UK every year and it’s a sector that is growing. With EO businesses ranging from major retail chains like John Lewis and Waitrose through to smaller community based businesses like midwives and nurseries, it’s as diverse as it’s valuable and Fred is proud to support the sector.

EOA

The Employee Ownership Association (EOA) represents organisations which are employee owned or transitioning to employee ownership across the UK. Fred has worked with the EOA for several years, initially delivering their annual celebrations on EO Day and design services across a range of corporate materials but now, following a competitive national tender, we also deliver their PR campaigns as well as their online presence. Recent successes include coverage on the BBC breakfast and national broadsheets as well as being part of the national EO Conference which had it’s biggest attendance to date. Fred is proud to be an associate member of the EOA.

John Lewis Partnership

Through our work with the EOA Fred came into contact with some of the John Lewis Partnership (JLP) team, including their Chief Executive who is also chair of the EOA. Having seen the work we had done for the EOA, JLP approached us to develop a brand and event materials for a new conference they were developing alongside core sponsors including national banks and business consultancies. ‘Inspire EO’ was the result and the brand was designed to echo JLP branding whilst also being distinct and unique to the event itself.

Being EO is about heart as well as head but the benefits for both the business and their clients are significant and very tangible. From better customer service and higher levels in innovation and flexibility through to market resilience, better growth and lower staff turnover, there is a lot to shout about and we’re delighted to make sure that the shouts get heard.
